Women Who Podcast magazine is honored to sponsor and partner with Podcasthon for their March 2025 initiative!
WHAT IS PODCASTHON?
Podcasthon is about convincing as many podcast hosts as possible to:
dedicate one episode of their show to a charity of their choice
release these episodes simultaneously, in a coordinated effort, March 15-21, 2025
to create a massive and international wave of inspiring audio content
THE OBJECTIVE?
To raise awareness for a large number of charities worldwide.
If this nonprofit initiative resonates with you, please register as a host here! It’s quick, free, and easy.
JOIN AS A PODCASTER!
The choice of the charity is entirely yours — it can be anything from an international NGO to a local
non-profit that matters to you or your audience.
Dedicating one episode means either inviting a representative from the charity or discussing it on your podcast. The format is also up to you.
There’s no money involved! You don’t need to donate or ask your audience for donations.
It’s all about raising awareness.
You know, all charities need to expand their circle of supporters and connect with new audiences. Podcasting is likely the best medium to convey emotions and podcasters are natural storytellers.
It’s the perfect match!
This will be the 3rd edition of this online event; the first two involved over 400 French-speaking podcasters.
Podcasthon is now available for hosts from everywhere and in any language, aiming to convince thousands of podcasts to join this fast-growing movement.
Word of mouth and helping hands are our strongest allies so far!
As most podcasters belong to value-driven communities.
Podcasthon is supported by great partners like Women Who Podcast magazine, PodNews, Ausha, Acast, The Podcast Academy, and The Passionistas Project (with more to come!) who are
actively spreading the word far and wide.
